DFCITY and Heilongjiang Binli Lead the Innovation

DFCITY and Heilongjiang Binli Lead the Innovation in Building Materials Development—
—DFCITY and Heilongjiang Binli Strategic Cooperation
2024/06/19

On June 19, 2024, a day of great significance in the field of building materials, Dato’ Dr. Li Wei, Chairman of DONGFANGCITY CONSTRUCTION GROUP SDN BHD (hereinafter referred to as "DFCITY"), and Zhao Xiwen, General Manager of Heilongjiang Binli Building Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Heilongjiang Binli"), formally signed a letter of intent for cooperation in lightweight composite partition wall building materials. This strong partnership not only injects powerful momentum into the development of both companies but also promises to spark a wave of innovative transformation in the global building materials market.

Lightweight composite partition wall building materials are at the core of this cooperation, offering unique advantages to the construction industry. These innovative materials stand out for their distinctive features. Firstly, they are cost-effective. By optimizing material formulations and production processes, the materials significantly reduce raw material and production costs without compromising quality. This advantage provides greater flexibility in budget control for construction projects, allowing DFCITY to save a substantial amount of development capital.

Secondly, high production efficiency is another highlight of lightweight composite partition walls. Advanced automated production equipment and efficient processes enable rapid, mass production to meet the demands of large-scale construction projects. Compared to traditional building materials, this greatly shortens production cycles, providing strong support for the swift advancement of DFCITY projects.

Thermal insulation is a key feature of this material. Malaysia, located in a subtropical region, experiences high temperatures and heavy rainfall year-round, with minimal temperature differences between indoor and outdoor environments. As a result, air conditioning systems operate under high load throughout the year. The excellent thermal insulation properties of lightweight composite partition walls are particularly effective in such conditions. They effectively prevent outdoor heat from entering indoor spaces, reduce heat exchange between indoors and outdoors, and significantly lower the load on air conditioning systems. This not only helps reduce carbon emissions but also alleviates the strain on local power supplies, making a significant contribution to the green and energy-efficient operation of buildings in Malaysia.

Lastly, the material's insect-resistant properties provide additional assurance for the long-term stability and safety of buildings. This feature prevents potential threats from insect infestations to the building structure, extends the lifespan of the building, and reduces maintenance costs and frequency.

The initial test site for this collaboration has been selected at Nexus Business Park, a project developed in collaboration with the local publicly listed company DFCITY GROUP BHD's subsidiary, Hock Heng Realty Sdn. Bhd., and TL GROUP. This selection is not coincidental. As a significant industrial real estate project in Malaysia, Nexus Business Park boasts high visibility and influence. Conducting the preliminary cooperation trials here serves two primary purposes: to showcase the exceptional performance of the lightweight composite partition wall building materials in practical applications, thereby accumulating valuable practical experience for market promotion, and to leverage the project's platform advantage to attract the attention of many industry professionals and related companies, gaining more collaboration opportunities and market resources for both parties.

During the signing ceremony, Dato’ Dr. Li Wei, Chairman of DFCITY, delivered an enthusiastic speech. He stated, "This partnership with Heilongjiang Binli is a significant strategic move for DFCITY Group in the building materials sector for project development. The introduction of lightweight composite partition wall building materials perfectly aligns with our development philosophy. As a major economic entity in Southeast Asia, Malaysia has a strong demand in the construction market. We firmly believe that this cooperation will widely apply this excellent building material in local projects, enhancing building quality and efficiency, and setting a new benchmark for industry development. We are currently in the process of applying for a Malaysian patent, which will provide robust legal protection for our cooperative achievements and help us secure a leading position in the Malaysian market. In the future, we aim not only to dominate this specialized field in Malaysia but also to use Malaysia as a starting point to actively explore international markets and introduce this innovative material globally."

Zhao Xiwen, General Manager of Heilongjiang Binli Building Energy-Saving Material Technology Co., Ltd., also expressed high expectations for the partnership: "We are delighted to collaborate with DFCITY and introduce our high-quality products to the Malaysian market. Heilongjiang Binli has been dedicated to the research and production of energy-saving building materials, and our lightweight composite partition wall building materials are the result of years of effort by our team. This cooperation with DFCITY marks a crucial step towards international expansion. We will leverage our technical strengths and production experience to provide quality products and services to the Malaysian market. Additionally, we will work with DFCITY to explore innovations continually, optimizing product performance to meet different customer needs. We believe that with joint efforts, we can achieve a win-win situation and contribute to the global development of the construction industry."

Looking ahead, the future of this cooperation is bright. Successfully obtaining a Malaysian patent will establish a strong competitive barrier for both parties in the local market, potentially monopolizing the market share in this specialized field in Malaysia. As the collaboration deepens, both parties plan to establish a factory in the United States to further expand the North American market. This will help elevate the recognition and influence of Chinese building materials companies in the international market, fostering global exchanges and cooperation in the building materials industry.

This partnership is not just a commercial alliance between companies; it is also a fusion of technology and innovation. It will inject new vitality into the development of the construction industry and create a brighter future.

At the signing ceremony, many distinguished guests witnessed this historic moment, including Dato’ Dr. Li Wei, Chairman of DFCITY Group; Zhao Xiwen, General Manager of Heilongjiang Binli Building Energy Co., Ltd.; Zhang Shujing, Director of DFCITY's Investment Promotion Department; Wang Min, Deputy Director of DFCITY's Marketing Department; Duan Junqiu, Deputy Director of DFCITY's Marketing Department; Zhu Jun, Deputy Director of DFCITY's Marketing Department; Wei Lingyu, DFCITY Director and Shareholder; and Liu Shu, DFCITY Director and Shareholder.
